WESTERN NEW YORK PAINTINGS These are a sample of some of the paintings I painted in the Niagra County area from various stages of my art life and differing media, oil paintings, watercolors and acrylic.

LOCKS EARLY 1900"s Oil Painting, 24"x48" sold This painting was taken from an old black and white glass slide that was given to me to paint .
	HAY BALES Oil Painting, 18"x24" $450. Summer hay bales near my home on Stone Road in Western New York.

30 MILE LIGHTHOUSE, VISITORS Oil Painting, 18"x24" $525. Thirty Mile Point Lighthouse has a rich history and visitors come from all over the County to climb the tower and enjoy the lighthouse and views of Lake Ontario.
	BUFFALO, LIGHT Oil Painting, 12"x16" $400. Buffalo Light is located on Lake Erie at Buffalo New York

FORT NIAGARA MUSICIANS Oil Painting, 16"x20" $475. Fort Niagara sits at the mouth of the Niagara River entering Lake Ontario in northwest New York State. Three musicians are playing music inside the fort.
	LOCKS 34 & 35, SEPTEMBER MORNING Oil Painting, 18"x24" sold The Locks on the Erie Canal at Lockport New York.

OLLCOTT HARBOR Oil Painting, 11"x14" $575. Olcott Harbor on an overcast day in late autumn when most boat owners have pulled their boats out of the water for the winter. The harbor feeds into Lake Ontario.
	TURKEY CROSSING Oil Painting, 16"x20" $490. There are alot of wild turkeys in Western New York. I went out in a corn field hoping to see these turkeys, and then they came out of the woods and crossed the stream heading for their nesting site for the night.

	FLIGHT of FIVE at SUNRISE Oil Painting, 18"x24" $450. Shadows over the steps of the Flight of Five an early morning.

30 MILE LIGHT AT SUNSET Watercolor Painting, 11"x14" $375. Thirty Mile Point Lighthouse is located thirty miles east of the mouth of the Niagara River on Lake Ontario. I found this awesome sunset one summer evening.
	CHARLOTTE/GENESEE LIGHT Watercolor Painting, 11x14 $375. Charlotte/Genesee light is located in Rochester New York on Lake Ontario.

THE WAKEMAN FARM IN WINTER I Oil Painting, 12"x16" $375. My mother-in-law, Elizabeth Smith, grew up on the Wakeman farm in Lockport New York. There were so many stories there. I liked the natural back end of the farm.
	THE WAKEMAN FARM IN WINTER II Oil Painting, 12"x16" $375. Another veiw of the farm the view is looking north from the railroad tracks in between the golf course and Cold Springs Cemetary.

BUFFALO LIGHT AT SUNSET V Watercolor Painting, 11"x14" $350. As a result of a demonstration I completed five similar paintings, this is the fifth painting.
	SPRING LAKE AUTUMN Oil Painting, 11"x14" $400. I did an art display at the Spring Lake Winery and painted the lake and foilage./h2>

AMERICAN FALLS Oil Painting, 12"x16" $350. The American Falls are part of the Niagara Falls located at the end of Lake Erie on the Niagara River which empties into Lake Ontario.
	HORSESHOE FALLS Oil Painting, 12"x16" $350. The Horseshoe Falls are in Canada next to the American Falls seperated by rock. It is the more spectacular than the American Falls. I felt I had to include them in my show.

LIBERTY SAILING AND OLCOTT LIGHT Watercolor Painting, 11"x14" $450. Liberty sailing by Olcott Light on Lake Ontario at Olcott New York.
	REVOLUTIONARY VOLUNTEERS Oil Painting, 8x10 $300. Dipping for a cup of punch, part of the celebration of that inspired Fife and Drum. I like the perspective of this painting.

CANADIAN GEESE AT SUNSET Watercolor Painting, 11"x14" $475. Canadian Geese on Ice at sunset East of Lockport.
	SODUS POINT LIGHTHOUSE Watercolor Painting, 11"x14" $300. Sodus Point Lighthouse is located on Lake Ontario between Rochester and Syracuse New York.

30 MILE LIGHT AT DUSK Oil Painting 16"x20" $425. Looking east with a moonrise and stars on a hot August evening at dusk. The light is on the fog house in the foreground.

30 MILE LIGHT IN AUTUMN Watercolor, 11"x14" $375. I sketched this painting, took it to California and painted it with my Mom and Dad last September. So it has a special place in my heart.
